Customer Review: Favourite
I purchased this DVD in the middle of my second trimester to stay fit and because I like yoga. I’m not a big expert but I was really satisfied with the content of the DVD. I like that there are modified poses. You don’t have to force them. It’s a calming energizing dvd. I like it a lot. It has some special additional features for example postnatal yoga or birthing room yoga.
Although I’m planning a hospital birth I hope I can use a bit of yoga for labor.
It was really a good choice to buy this product. I’m satisfied.:-)
Customer Review: Who were the consultants for this one?
Let me start off with what I liked. The DVD has several chapters that are easily accessible from the menu. The chapters are focused to specific purposes - like the energizing segment or the birthing room segment. When guiding you through the poses, the narrator does a great job of slowing down and letting you settle into the pose - there’s no rush. Also, the amount of time of the exercises are doable - it’s very easy to get in a good 30 minute practice with this DVD.
What I didn’t like is that I had to question some of the movements the DVD guides you through. For example, at one point you’re asked to sit in butterfly pose and bounce your knees up and down. Didn’t we all learn in grade school PE class that you never bounce when stretching? This just seemed to me like a recipe for some pulled muscles. This is why I gave it only 3 stars - you need to be pretty savy about physical exercise to know what is safe in this DVD. Learn More / Buy Now

From Here to Maternity

Customer Review: Not as great as the first two- but a nice conclusion to the trilogy *may contain spoilers*
I enjoyed this book. Not as much as the first two but enjoyed it nonetheless.
The only thing i didn’t like was the ending. Whilst what happened with the baby- i won’t give it away- i felt was appropriate as it fit the whole idea of the road to parenthood being hard, i disliked the final page as i felt it didn’t give enough material for what happened next. I would have liked to learn more about how Emma found life with two children or some nice, happy diologue. I felt quite sad when the book ended.
I must say i did enjoy the triology and would recommend it, i’m just sad that’s it!
Customer Review: Third time was not charm
“From Here to Maternity” is the third book written by author Sinead Moriarty, and I sad to say that it was the not as good as her first two books. At this point Emma and James Hamilton have adopted Yuri from Russia and now expecting there own child. Emma, who came off as a good character in the first two books is not that interesting, and most of the books seem to deal with the actions of her crazy sister Babs. After reading “From Here to Maternity” I can say that I should have waited for the paperback instead of the hardback. Learn More / Buy Now

Maitland Maternity: The Inheritance

Customer Review: Enjoyable, but not a keeper
From the back cover:

Independent rancher Rafe Maitland had never met his wealthy relatives–and planned to keep it that way. But when matriarch Megan Maitland’s lovely personal assistant arrived on his doorstep, determined to ensure his presence at the family reunion, Rafe showed he could be as demanding and crafty as any other Maitland. Because the price for his company was a marriage of convenience–and all to keep custody of the little girl he’d inherited…

And my review:

This was quite an enjoyable book. Not outstanding, and not awful, just average. I liked the way the author was able to write good sexual tension without having the book become an overpowering, flying hormone lust-fest.

One major problem with this book is that, because it’s a part of a series, much of this book cannot stand on its own. The romance was successfully concluded, but a lot of loose ends were left hanging - presumably to be tied up in another book. That was kind of annoying if you’re not planning to read the other books in the series.

Liz Lange’s Maternity Style: How to Look Fabulous During the Most Fashion-Challenged Time

When designer Liz Lange was thinking about getting pregnant for the first time, and watching her friends struggle with the available choices in maternity wear, she was shocked. With no shortage of baggy tops, gaudy bows, and pants with big panels, Liz was faced with the frustrating truth: fashion and pregnancy do not always make a compatible pair. Luckily for pregnant women all over, the result was Liz s renowned collection of classic, comfortable maternity wear.

Now, Liz Lange s Maternity Style presents all of Liz s personal and professional insights for women who refuse to relinquish chic simply because they are expecting. In her direct, upbeat voice, Liz shows how to make the most of a difficult, fashion-challenged time without replacing your entire wardrobe. Celebrating the swelling belly so many maternity clothes attempt to camouflage, her tasteful approach shows pregnant women how to dress both to accentuate and to slim their changing bodies (including those pesky postpartum months spent working your way back into your favorite jeans).

Liz Lange s Maternity Style provides advice on everything from color choice to accessories, casual Fridays to holiday parties, exercise or lounge wear to weekend staples all building from a carefully selected wardrobe focused on mixing and matching, sensibility and style. Lively illustrations, fun celebrity photos, and great features, like must-have pieces and splurge vs. save items, all add up to a friendly, eminently useful, and fun-to-read guide.

A much-needed handbook for the roller coaster ride that is pregnancy, Liz Lange s Maternity Style will help you keep your sense of style and self.
Customer Review: Useless
I was extremely disappointed with this book. I see pictures of clothes and do not know where to find them or if I can even afford them. I see celebrities who had tons of help to look good but no real women. Learn More / Buy Now

A very good book. The thing that amazes me is that the continuity is maintained well despite different authors writing for the series.
